KARACHI: BYD Pakistan-Mega Motor Company (MMC) has introduced a limited-time 30-day delivery offer for the BYD Atto 3, aiming to reduce long vehicle waiting times that have become a major concern for car buyers in Pakistan.

The offer applies to confirmed bookings from March 26, 2026, with delivery subject to full payment and limited allocation, the company said. The announcement signals a shift in how automakers are responding to demand, where faster delivery is becoming a key factor in purchase decisions.

The BYD Atto 3, launched in early 2025, has gained traction in Pakistan’s electric vehicle (EV) segment, supported by growing interest in fuel alternatives and new technology.

30-day delivery targets industry-wide delays

Car buyers in Pakistan have faced extended delivery timelines across multiple brands, often stretching several months. BYD’s 30-day commitment positions it as a faster option in comparison, highlighting supply chain readiness and operational efficiency.

The company said the initiative is designed to improve reliability and reduce uncertainty for customers.

EV demand and market shift

Demand for electric vehicles is gradually increasing in Pakistan, driven by rising fuel costs and interest in lower running expenses. Availability and delivery timelines are emerging as critical factors influencing buying decisions in this segment.

Industry trends suggest that quicker delivery commitments could accelerate EV adoption by addressing one of the key barriers for potential buyers.

Booking details and availability

Customers can place bookings through BYD Pakistan’s experience centres and authorised dealerships during the offer period. The company said the 30-day timeline applies to confirmed bookings and remains subject to allocation limits.

The move is expected to intensify competition in Pakistan’s auto market, particularly as manufacturers adapt to changing consumer expectations around delivery speed and service.
