Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid visited BISP Tehsil offices in Barikot and Babuzai, Swat, where she met women beneficiaries, reviewed service delivery, and raised awareness about BISP Digital Wallets and the distribution of free Benazir SIMs.
During the visit, Senator Rubina Khalid informed beneficiaries that activating a Digital Wallet is free of charge, while the service fee for cash withdrawals is fixed at Rs280. She emphasized that beneficiaries’ funds remain secure in their Digital Wallets and can be withdrawn at any time from authorized retailers of the designated partner bank.
Chairperson Reviews Beneficiary Services
Accompanied by Member of the Provincial Assembly Mehr Sultana Advocate, the BISP chairperson listened to beneficiaries’ concerns and directed officials to resolve complaints promptly.
She also advised women to ensure they receive their full financial assistance and warned them against making or accepting any unauthorized deductions from their payments.

Free Benazir SIM Distribution Continues
During her visit, Senator Rubina Khalid supervised the distribution of free Benazir SIMs and explained their role in supporting secure Digital Wallet transactions and communication with beneficiaries.
She reviewed the ongoing SIM distribution process and instructed staff to maintain transparency, efficiency, and discipline throughout the programme.

Call for Respectful and Transparent Service
The chairperson directed BISP officers and field staff to treat all beneficiaries with dignity and respect while ensuring timely and transparent delivery of financial assistance.
She said serving deserving families is both a national responsibility and a public service, stressing the importance of providing beneficiaries with efficient and respectful support.
Director General BISP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Alaf Jan Afridi, also attended the visit.
