MARDAN: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mardan has announced a series of measures aimed at easing administrative and financial difficulties faced by students and their parents.
The decisions were discussed during a meeting between BISE Mardan Board of Governors (BOG) member Tufail Mayar and Secretary BISE Mardan Prof. Hazrat Ali. The meeting focused on simplifying student services, resolving enrollment-related issues and improving the board’s digital systems.
Fee Refund for Re-totaling and Paper Inspection
A key decision concerns fees paid for re-totaling and paper inspection. Under the proposed measure, students whose marks increase after re-totaling or inspection will receive a full refund of the fee paid for the process.
The measure is intended to reduce the financial burden on students and parents and make the process more student-friendly.
Enrollment and Record Corrections
The meeting also addressed difficulties related to student enrollment and record updates, including changes to photographs, correction of entry errors and other administrative modifications.
Secretary BISE Mardan Prof. Hazrat Ali assured the delegation that such cases would be handled on a priority basis to facilitate students and applicants.
Online Portal to Be Upgraded
The officials also agreed to improve the BISE Mardan online portal. The planned upgrades are aimed at making enrollment, record verification and other administrative procedures more efficient and accessible.
BOG member Tufail Mayar stressed the need for faster and easier solutions to issues affecting students, parents and educational institutions.
Prof. Hazrat Ali reaffirmed the board’s commitment to implementing the agreed measures and improving service delivery for students.
