A 35-year-old Bangladeshi man who earns a living by begging has gone viral on social media after claiming that he has been married 21 times.
According to local media reports, the man, identified as Moru Mian, claims to have 21 wives. However, he reportedly says he cannot even remember the names of all the women he claims to have married.
Moru Mian said he never approached any woman himself with a marriage proposal. Instead, he claimed that women would come to him with marriage offers.
According to his account, he found it difficult to refuse their proposals and continued accepting them, eventually bringing the number of his alleged marriages to 21.
Despite making the unusual claim, Moru Mian reportedly continues to live in a one-room hut and relies primarily on begging to meet his family’s basic needs.
