ISLAMABAD, August 10, 2026: Balochistan’s deep-rooted love for Pakistan takes centre stage in a new Brahui-language patriotic song released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) ahead of the country’s Independence Day celebrations.
The new national song features renowned Baloch folk singer Akhtar Chanal Zahri, whose distinctive voice and signature performance style bring together the cultural identity of Balochistan and a powerful expression of patriotism.
The song portrays the strong bond between the people of Balochistan and Pakistan, highlighting their affection for the homeland and their commitment to national unity.
Through its lyrics, music and visuals, the patriotic track presents Balochistan’s cultural richness while conveying a broader message of solidarity and shared national identity.
Akhtar Chanal’s performance adds a distinctly regional character to the song. Known for his powerful folk vocals, the celebrated singer delivers the patriotic message in Brahui, one of the major regional languages spoken in Balochistan.
The release comes ahead of Pakistan’s Independence Day on August 14, when celebrations are held across the country to commemorate independence and pay tribute to the people whose sacrifices contributed to the creation and development of Pakistan.
