PSX loses 339 points as KSE-100 closes at 170,425

KARACHI, September 28, 2026: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) ended Monday’s trading session in negative territory, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index falling 339 points amid mixed trading activity.

The KSE-100 Index closed at 170,425 points after fluctuating throughout the session.

During the trading day, the benchmark index moved within a range of 1,006 points, touching an intraday low of 170,120 points.

Trading activity remained active, with approximately 420 million shares changing hands across the stock market. The total value of shares traded stood at Rs17 billion.

Meanwhile, the market’s overall capitalisation declined by Rs34 billion, settling at Rs18.961 trillion by the close of trading.

The session reflected a mixed trend in the equity market, with the benchmark index ultimately finishing lower despite fluctuations during the day.
