The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest ODI and T20I player rankings, with several Pakistan players improving their positions across batting, bowling, and all-rounder categories. Former captain Babar Azam moved up to sixth in the ODI batting rankings, while Shaheen Shah Afridi broke into the top 20 ODI all-rounders for the first time.
The latest rankings highlight Pakistan’s strong presence across multiple formats, with players making gains in both individual and team performance categories.
Babar Azam, Salman Ali Agha Make ODI Batting Gains
In the updated ODI batting rankings, Babar Azam climbed one place to No. 6, while Salman Ali Agha rose two positions to 16th.
New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell retained the top spot, with India’s captain remaining second, just one rating point behind.
Pakistan Bowlers Continue to Impress
In the ODI bowling rankings, spinner Abrar Ahmed held on to second place, while Pakistan captain Shaheen Shah Afridi climbed two spots to seventh.
Fast bowler Haris Rauf also improved by two places to enter the top 20 ODI bowlers.
In the T20I bowling rankings, Rashid Khan of Afghanistan remained No. 1, with Abrar Ahmed staying second. Pakistan’s Mohammad Nawaz ranked 10th, while Salman Mirza was 16th.
Shaheen Reaches Top 20 Among ODI All-Rounders
In the ODI all-rounders rankings, Salman Ali Agha slipped one place to 12th, while Shaheen Shah Afridi moved up one position to enter the top 20 for the first time.
In the T20I batting rankings, Sahibzada Farhan retained third place. Among T20I all-rounders, Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe remained first, Saim Ayub held second place, and Mohammad Nawaz stayed 10th.
