Azerbaijan offers fully funded scholarships for Pakistani students for 2026–27

Azerbaijan has announced fully funded scholarships for Pakistani students under the Heydar Aliyev International Educational Grant Program for the 2026–27 academic year, offering opportunities to pursue undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral studies at universities across the country.

According to the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, the program provides financial support for selected candidates, including tuition coverage and living assistance, aimed at strengthening academic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan while expanding international study opportunities for Pakistani students.

Scholarship benefits and coverage

Under the program, selected students will receive full tuition fee coverage along with a range of financial and logistical benefits during their studies in Azerbaijan.

The scholarship package includes one international flight ticket per year, a monthly stipend of 800 Azerbaijani manat (AZN) to cover accommodation, meals, and utilities, and medical insurance worth 200 AZN. In addition, visa and university registration fees will also be covered under the grant.

The initiative is part of Azerbaijan’s broader educational outreach program designed to attract international students and promote academic exchange with partner countries.

Application deadline and process

The Higher Education Commission said Pakistani applicants must submit their applications through the official HEC scholarship portal by March 20, 2026, at 4:00 PM.

Officials say the scholarship program is intended to support talented students from Pakistan while fostering stronger educational and cultural ties between the two countries.
