A dispute between actors Arslan Butt and Mamya Shajaffar over harassment allegations has been formally resolved after both parties agreed to settle the matter and withdraw all legal proceedings.
The development was announced by Arslan Butt through his Instagram account, where he shared a copy of the settlement agreement and urged social media users to refrain from further discussion of the issue. The case had drawn widespread attention across Pakistan’s entertainment industry and digital platforms.
According to the agreement, both parties mutually agreed to resolve all disputes, misunderstandings, and legal matters in a peaceful manner. Arslan Butt confirmed that he has withdrawn all complaints previously filed, including those submitted to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) and a defamation case.
The document further states that the settlement does not constitute an admission of guilt or wrongdoing by either party.
The controversy began after Mamya Shajaffar spoke in a podcast about uncomfortable experiences during a project, which led to public debate. Arslan Butt later rejected the allegations, calling them false and defamatory.
With the settlement now finalized, both parties have agreed to close all related complaints and end the matter.
