Arslan Ash makes history again, becomes eight-time EVO world champion

Pakistani esports player Arslan Ash has once again brought global recognition to Pakistan after winning his eighth Evolution Championship Series (EVO) title at EVO 2026 in Las Vegas.

The Lahore-based Tekken star defeated South Korea’s Reng Cho in a closely contested final, securing a 3–2 victory in the Tekken 8 championship match held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

With this win, Arslan Ash extends his record as the most successful player in EVO history, becoming a four-time consecutive champion in Las Vegas and an eight-time EVO title holder overall.

Tournament organizers also acknowledged his achievement, highlighting his consistent dominance in competitive fighting games on the global stage.

Arslan Ash first rose to international prominence in 2019 after winning the Tekken 7 EVO title in Japan, and has since established himself as one of the most successful figures in esports history.
