Apple may skip the iPhone 19 branding and move directly to an iPhone 20 series next year, according to reports and early leaks about the company’s future smartphone lineup.
The iPhone 18 Pro series has only recently been introduced, but speculation about Apple’s next-generation devices has already begun circulating.
According to the reports, Apple could mark the 20th anniversary of the iPhone next year by introducing the iPhone 20 series instead of an iPhone 19 lineup.
Early reports have also suggested possible specifications for the iPhone 20 Pro and iPhone 20 Pro Max. The iPhone 20 Pro is reportedly expected to feature a 6.41-inch display, slightly larger than the current Pro model, while the Pro Max could retain or feature a display measuring around 6.9 inches.
Possible New Display Design
The upcoming iPhone Pro models could also receive a significant design change.
Reports suggest Apple may consider a borderless quad-curved display, replacing the flat-panel design used on current iPhones.
Another reported change could involve the front-facing camera. Instead of the existing Dynamic Island design, Apple may move toward a punch-hole camera arrangement.
Such a change would potentially give the display a more uninterrupted appearance, although details about how Face ID and other front-facing components would be integrated remain unclear.
