Washington, I just finished serving as Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States.
Since March 2022, we are trying to build Pak-US relations together. In doing so, we are grateful for the tremendous support of our American friends in the Administration, Congress, State Governments and Assembly, International Financial Institutions (IFIs), think tanks, media, civil society and the private sector! such as the diaspora community.
We must continue our efforts to strengthen Pakistan-US relations despite the difficulties.
Our two nations continue to have a strong relationship that spans almost 77 years of history.
I am also grateful for the support and understanding of the Pakistani-American community. It has become a pillar of strength and a connective network for enduring Pak-US partnership.
I am indebted to the influential Pakistani-American organizations that helped me, our mission, and our two countries navigate a difficult but promising landscape.
I am confident that you will fully support my successor.
I wish you all success and prosperity while I am gone.
Believe in Pakistan and promote Pakistan-US relations.
