KARACHI: Awaam Pakistan Party Balochistan Provincial President Syed Aman Shah has called for greater national consensus among political forces, state institutions and other stakeholders, saying a collective approach is needed to address the country’s economic, political and administrative challenges.
Speaking to journalists, Shah said Pakistan was facing multiple crises and that differences and confrontation among stakeholders could make existing difficulties more challenging. He urged political forces and national institutions to focus on national interests and work toward a shared strategy.
Call for Political Stability and Institutional Coordination
Shah said economic development and sustainable peace required political stability. He called on institutions to perform their respective roles within their constitutional domains and emphasized the importance of consultation and coordination.
According to Shah, Awaam Pakistan Party believes that national challenges cannot be resolved by a single political party or institution. He said transparent governance, consultation and collective decision-making were necessary to address major issues.
He also called for practical measures to tackle problems affecting ordinary citizens, including inflation, unemployment, law and order and economic difficulties.
Focus on National Interest
Shah urged political forces to demonstrate seriousness about the country’s future and respect differing viewpoints on matters of national importance.
He said all stakeholders should set aside political and institutional differences where necessary and focus on stability, peace and economic progress.
The Awaam Pakistan Party Balochistan leader expressed hope that political forces and national institutions would play what he described as a constructive role in the broader national interest and help create conditions for greater stability and development.
