KARACHI: Actress Alizeh Shah has drawn attention on social media after sharing a post that users have linked to the recent drama debut of Shahveer Kadwani, son of producer Abdullah Kadwani.
In an Instagram Story, Alizeh Shah shared a meme featuring an image of Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor labelled “Bollywood Nepo Kids” alongside a cartoon-style image labelled “Pakistani Nepo Kids.”
The actress did not directly mention anyone by name in the post. However, social media users began linking the meme to Shahveer Kadwani’s recent entry into the Pakistani drama industry.
The post sparked mixed reactions online. Some users agreed with the sentiment they attributed to the post, while others criticised the actress and said new performers should be given time to develop their skills and establish themselves.
As Alizeh Shah did not identify Shahveer Kadwani or any other individual in the Instagram Story, the connection being made between the post and his debut remains social media speculation rather than a direct statement by the actress.
