A case has been registered against eight suspects, including three police officers and two women, over an alleged honey trap incident in Ali Pur, Punjab, in which a citizen was reportedly kidnapped, assaulted and robbed.
According to the complaint, the victim was allegedly lured to a location by women before being abducted. The suspects allegedly identified themselves as personnel of the Crime Control Department (CCD) and subjected the citizen to violence.
Eight Suspects Named in Case
The case includes three police personnel, two women and three other individuals. The allegations are based on the victim’s account, and the case has been registered for further investigation.
Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the alleged honey trap, including the involvement of the police personnel and the events leading to the reported kidnapping and robbery.
The case highlights allegations of misuse of official identity in a criminal incident, although the claims against the suspects will be subject to investigation and due legal process.
