PESHAWAR, October 9, 2026: Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur has sharply escalated his political feud with incumbent Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, accusing him of entering office through a “deal” and warning that he would make the alleged details public if accusations against him continued.

Gandapur said Afridi should stop levelling allegations against him or face public exposure.

“Stop making allegations against me, otherwise I will expose you,” the former chief minister warned.

Addressing Afridi directly, Gandapur questioned how he had assumed office and under what conditions.

“How did you come? On what condition did you come? And who brought you?” Gandapur asked, alleging that Afridi had entered into a deal and claiming that he possessed a complete record of it.

The remarks reflect a deepening political rift between the former and current chief ministers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Gandapur also accused Afridi of being responsible for stopping meetings with the PTI founder.

In another allegation, he said Afridi had left Bushra Bibi behind and fled.

The claims made by Gandapur were presented as allegations in the original report and no response from Sohail Afridi was included.

The exchange signals growing internal political tensions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with the dispute between the two leaders now moving into increasingly personal accusations.
