ISLAMABAD, October 9, 2026: Al-Ghazi Tractors Limited (AGTL), the manufacturer of New Holland tractors in Pakistan, has entered the Uzbekistan market with its first export consignment and a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with AgroTech Klaster, a company within Uzavtosanoat JSC, Uzbekistan’s leading automotive and industrial manufacturing hub.
The development marks a new phase in AGTL’s international expansion and is aimed at improving access to reliable agricultural mechanization in Uzbekistan and the wider Central Asian region.
The MoU was signed in Tashkent by AGTL Chief Executive Officer Yasin Seker and AgroTech Klaster General Director Ulugbek Matkarimov during a visit by AGTL’s senior delegation to Uzbekistan.
Under the agreement, the two companies will pursue long-term cooperation in business development, technology exchange, agricultural mechanization and market expansion.
For farmers in Uzbekistan, the partnership is intended to widen access to reliable and competitively priced tractors through a partner with an established presence in the country’s agricultural sector.
First Consignment of 18 Tractors Delivered
The agreement follows AGTL’s first delivery of 18 tractors to AgroTech Klaster.
During a review of the consignment, AgroTech Klaster’s technical leadership praised the build quality of the tractors and their suitability for Central Asian farming conditions, providing both sides with early confidence in the partnership.
The two companies will now work together to increase business volumes, facilitate cross-border trade and explore opportunities for technology collaboration in advanced agricultural mechanization.
They will also assess future opportunities involving high-technology farm machinery for Pakistan, including cotton pickers and combine harvesters, as Uzbekistan continues to modernize its agricultural sector.
AGTL Delegation Holds Talks With Uzavtosanoat Group
The AGTL delegation included CEO Yasin Seker, Chief Commercial Officer Azhar Noor and Senior Manager Exports Mohayuddin Rubbani.
During the visit, the delegation also met Dr Davron Khidoyatov, Deputy Chairman of Uzavtosanoat Group.
The discussions took place as Pakistan and Uzbekistan continue to deepen trade and industrial cooperation.
Both sides welcomed AGTL’s entry into the Uzbek market as a practical reflection of strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
The meetings also identified opportunities for broader cooperation across Uzbekistan and the wider Central Asian region, with both sides expressing a shared commitment to improving access to agricultural equipment and supporting regional food security.
