Mirpur— Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Colonel (R) Muhammad Ma’roof, expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of Mirpur police officer, Shaheed Mubashir Munir. He paid tribute by laying floral wreaths at the martyr’s grave and offered Fateha (prayers for the deceased).

Later, Colonel (R) Ma’roof visited the late officer’s residence to extend his condolences to the bereaved family. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Shaheed Mubashir Munir was a dutiful and dedicated police officer whose services to the police department will always be remembered.

“We pray that Allah Almighty grants the departed soul a high rank in Jannat-ul-Firdous and gives strength and patience to the grieving family,” he added.
