An actress has appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to take notice of alleged harassment and threats, calling for fair and legal action against those involved.
In a social media post, the actress said authorities should ensure that anyone misusing power or obstructing justice is held accountable without discrimination. The matter has drawn public attention because it raises concerns about women’s safety, harassment complaints and access to legal protection.
Fans urge authorities to act
Following her post, many fans and social media users expressed support for the actress. They urged government institutions and relevant authorities to take immediate steps to ensure protection for women facing harassment, intimidation or threats.
The actress said she hoped the matter would be handled according to law and that justice would not be delayed or influenced by pressure.
Momina Iqbal demanded that the relevant authorities immediately conduct an impartial investigation, provide protection to her family, and take strict legal action against those involved. She warned that if the matter continues to be ignored, she will hold a press conference and present all evidence before the public.
