ISLAMABAD, May 21, 2026 (Web Desk): The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency has summoned Member of Provincial Assembly Saqib Chadhar and his wife Sameera Khan after actress Momina Iqbal filed a harassment complaint, according to media reports.
The NCCIA summons came after Momina Iqbal accused an influential political figure of prolonged online harassment, cyberbullying, mental torture and death threats. The matter has drawn public attention because it involves allegations of digital abuse, political influence and threats to the actress and her family.
According to reports, the agency has directed both individuals to appear before it on Friday, May 22, as part of the legal proceedings initiated after the complaint.
In an Instagram story shared a day earlier, Momina Iqbal said she had repeatedly approached the NCCIA, the Federal Investigation Agency and Punjab Police, but alleged that no effective action was taken because of political influence.
The actress claimed she was discouraged from pursuing the case instead of receiving protection or justice. She also said her family continued to face serious threats.
Momina Iqbal appealed to authorities for a transparent and impartial investigation and demanded immediate protection for her family.
She also tagged senior officials, government offices, news channels and media platforms in her social media post, saying those misusing authority or obstructing justice should face action under the law.
The case has triggered discussion on social media, where many users have urged authorities to investigate the allegations and ensure the safety of the complainant and her family.
