Pakistan leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed has climbed to second place in the latest ICC T20 bowling rankings, marking a significant rise in the global standings.
According to the updated rankings released on Wednesday, Abrar moved past India’s Varun Chakravarthy to reach 736 rating points. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan remains at the top with 753 points, maintaining his position as the world’s leading T20 bowler.
In other Pakistan bowling rankings, Mohammad Nawaz is placed 12th, Salman Mirza 20th, while Shaheen Shah Afridi holds 30th position with 602 rating points.
In the T20 batting rankings, Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan continues to be the country’s top-ranked batter, standing third globally with 848 rating points. India’s Ishan Kishan has reclaimed the top spot, followed by Abhishek Sharma in second.
Other Pakistan batters include Saim Ayub at 40th, Babar Azam at 42nd, and T20 captain Salman Ali Agha at 44th position.
In the T20 all-rounder rankings, Saim Ayub remains third, behind Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza and India’s Hardik Pandya.
