Abbottabad: The All Employees Grand Alliance Abbottabad has announced to join a major protest in Islamabad on February 10 against the pension cut. Millions of employees from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will come out for their rights. They have threatened to stage a sit-in, boycott all services and lock down offices until their demands are approved. In this regard, Chairman All Employees Grand Alliance Abbottabad Zulfiqar Abbasi, while holding a crowded press conference at the Abbottabad Press Club, said that the cut was made in the name of pension reforms. The government has adopted anti-employee policies. All organizations at the provincial level have united and rejected the government’s policies. On this occasion, the heads of associations of various departments, Professor Dilawar Khan, Amjad Khan Jadoon, Azhar Khan Jadoon, Dr. Moazzam Khan, Saqib Anwar, Haroon Khan Jadoon, Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi, Rajab Ali, the spokesperson of AGEGA, and others were present. He said that the government has the right to provide pensions to its members. There is a 600-fold increase in salary for them. But when it comes to employees, their treasury is empty. Chairman Agiga Abbottabad said that all the leaders of the province in Peshawar have unanimously decided in a meeting and rejected the government’s decision. Now government employees have also united on one page and supported the leaders. He has said that the government should end corruption instead of cutting employees. Government employees dedicate their lives in the name of the nation, their rights should be protected and the government should uphold the agreement made at the time of recruitment.
