The Federal Minister of the Interior Mohsin met with the National Assembly of Ayaz Sadiq and discussed the attitude of Pakistan Tehreek-E-insf (PTI) in negotiations despite the positive progress of the government. During the meeting, both leaders exchanged opinions on matters of mutual interest, political matters and the overall situation in the country. According to reports, there were discussions about the positive approach of the government in negotiations and response of the PTI. Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the efforts of Ayaz Sadiq at the Association of Opposition and Government Parties. Mohsin said that Ayaz Sadiq a commendable role in the unification of government and opposition parties. Both leaders also expressed satisfaction to improve the economic situation in the country and discussed government initiatives on addressing public issues. Previously, Mohsin warned PTI of a strict event if he continues with the planned protest of February 8, which coincides with the match of the trophy masters planned in Lahore. In February, PTI decided to observe a black man to protest against the “stolen mandate” in last year’s general elections and announce a plan to organize public assemblies in a minar-e-Pakistani basis. “The government asks PTI to consider its planned protest on February 8, but if the party refuses, the state will take the necessary measures,” the Minister of the Interior said during his visit to Mega Passport Center on Peco Road in Lahore. He accused the party of damaging the international image of Pakistan by organizing demonstrations whenever foreign dignitaries visit the country. “Their policy supports chaos rather than constructive development.”
