The Department of Inspectorate of Mines has issued a notification to appoint Engineer Azam Sohail as Inspector of Mines for Rawalpindi Region,while he has started the work by taking charge from his predecessor Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf.Yesterday, he visited several coal mining areas.And besides inspecting the ongoing mining there, orders were issued to the lease owners to ensure safety measures and provide immediate resources for the protection of the workers.
