The implementation of PECA Act by the government,a protest rally was organized by the United Press Club,a registered journalist from across the tehsil. The rally started from the office of the United Press Club and ended at Dalwal Chowk. Haji Zafar Sagar, Raja Burhan Ghani,Syed Talha Farooq and Malik Shahzad Elahi requested the government to immediately cancel the PECA Act and against fake and fabricated news in consultation with the journalistic leadership.They demanded to make a plan, they called this law as a black law and strangulation of freedom of expression,Malik Abdul Qayyum Sethi, Iftikhar Hussain iffi,Syed Abid Shah,Khawar Shahzad Awan,Tariq Mehmood,Malik Muzamil Asghar, Malik Ahsan Rafiq participated and reiterated his determination to walk side by side in this struggle.The representatives of Choasidan Shah Press Club and Tehsil Press Club also participated in the protest rally.
