WhatsApp, the popular messaging app, is working on an exciting new feature that will soon be available to users. According to reports, the app is introducing a feature that will ensure “events” are a regular part of chats, just like community tabs, in individual conversations.
As per Web Beta Info’s report, events that users create in individual chats will now appear similarly to group chat events, maintaining consistency across the platform. Users will need to provide a clear name for the event to help others understand it. Additionally, users will need to specify the event’s date and can also add an end time for the event.
The feature will allow users to attach the event’s location, making it easy for participants to know where a meeting or activity is happening. Once an event is created in an individual chat, it will automatically be shared within the conversation, and the recipient will be notified.
