Pind Dadan Khan: In line with the “Safe Punjab Vision” of the Chief Minister of Punjab, the Punjab Police has carried out operations against criminal elements across the province. In the last 24 hours, 120 wanted and habitual criminals were arrested, and during actions against illegal arms and weapon displays, 97 weapons along with hundreds of bullets and cartridges were recovered. To combat drug trafficking, 118 cases were registered, and 65 kg of hashish, ice, and other drugs were seized. In a crackdown on electricity theft, which causes harm to the national exchequer, 130 cases were registered, and 68 criminals were arrested. Traffic law violations led to 30,573 traffic challans, and a fine of 19 million rupees was imposed, while 247 smoke-emitting vehicles were impounded, and 3,724 smoke-emitting vehicles were fined. Additionally, 1,940 citizens benefited from 14 services provided under the Police Service Centers, all under one roof.
