UPPER DIR : Deputy Commissioner Upper Dir, Naveed Akbar, inaugurated the district’s computerized land and criminal record center.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning Omar bin Riaz, Assistant Commissioner Headquarters Dir Dr. Yasser Ali Shah, Assistant Commissioner Revenue New Dr. Ishfaq Ahmed, and other officials.
Deputy Commissioner Naveed Akbar said that the district protection office has been equipped with modern facilities, including a computerized land and criminal record center. The record of Upper Dir’s protection office has been secured. Previously, all records were at risk of damage due to being scattered on the floor, but now they are being computerized.
For public convenience, CCTV cameras will be installed inside the protection office soon, and fire extinguishers have been installed to protect the records from fire. Additionally, records of tehsils and villages have been separated and tagged, and software has been developed to digitalize the records.
