Google marked the start of the T20 World Cup 2024 with spirited doodles on Sunday.
Aaron Jones joined the company of West Indies selector Chris Gayle as the USA kicked off the tournament with a 7-run win over Canada earlier this morning.
This marks the ninth edition of the T20 tournament jointly hosted by the USA and the West Indies.

The tournament features 20 teams with the best players in the world representing each team. Each participant is ready to show their skills in the upcoming game.
All teams are divided into four groups; A, B, C and D. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Eight. The Super Eight will then be divided into two groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals.
With all the international teams, the men in blue are ready for the upcoming events. Meanwhile, cricket fans are looking forward to exciting matches in the coming weeks, including the biggest match between India and Pakistan on Sunday (June 9).
