Toyota has introduced one of its most significant price cuts in recent years, lowering the ex-factory rates of its Fortuner SUV as part of a limited-time promotional campaign celebrating 35 years of the brand’s operations in the country. The offer brings notable savings for buyers and places the SUV at a more accessible price point than it has held in a long time.
Substantial reductions on popular Toyota Fortuner variants
Under the campaign titled “Built to be Unbeatable,” Toyota has revised prices for two key variants.
The Fortuner G now carries an ex-factory price of PKR 12,435,000, reduced from PKR 14,939,000.
The Fortuner V has been adjusted to PKR 14,935,000 from its previous price of PKR 17,509,000.
Both cuts translate into savings exceeding PKR 2.5 million per model, marking one of the steepest downward revisions seen in the local SUV segment.
A rare move amid sluggish automobile demand
The price reduction comes at a time when the auto market continues to struggle with subdued demand, driven by inflation, costly financing options, and overall economic pressure on consumers. Industry watchers note that Toyota’s decision could inject momentum into the premium SUV category, which has seen affordability challenges throughout the year.
Appeal of the Toyota Fortuner may broaden
The Toyota Fortuner, known for its durability, off-road capability, and strong resale reputation, now enters a more competitive pricing bracket. Analysts suggest the revised rates could draw interest from buyers who previously leaned toward smaller or mid-range SUVs due to rising costs across the industry.
Offer applies to limited stock
Toyota has confirmed that the promotional pricing is restricted to a limited quantity of Toyota Fortuner vehicles and will remain available for a short period. Customers hoping to secure the reduced rates are encouraged to book early, as demand is expected to rise following the announcement.
Marking an industry milestone
The special pricing initiative aligns with Toyota’s 35-year milestone in the country, reinforcing its long-standing presence and the Fortuner’s positioning under the company’s “Built to be Unbeatable” theme. All listed prices are ex-factory.
