Islamabad — Acting on the directives of Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, a large-scale cleanliness drive was held around Rawal Dam on Wednesday. The initiative aimed to promote civic responsibility and protect the environment.
Students from various schools, colleges, and universities participated enthusiastically alongside CDA teams. Moreover, civil society members and local residents also volunteered, showing growing public ownership of Islamabad’s natural beauty.
According to CDA officials, the drive focused on raising awareness about environmental conservation and the importance of cleanliness in public spaces.
