According to CDA officials, the drive focused on raising awareness about environmental conservation and the importance of cleanliness in public spaces. Additionally, the Authority has taken legal action against people caught littering around Rawal Dam to ensure lasting cleanliness and accountability.

Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa thanked students, volunteers, and residents for their active participation. He stated that the campaign’s main goal is to instill civic responsibility while protecting aquatic life and maintaining the area’s ecological balance.

Furthermore, he emphasized that community involvement is essential to keeping Rawal Dam and the nearby areas clean. A consistent effort, he added, would not only enhance Islamabad’s beauty but also support a healthier environment for its citizens.

The Chairman also urged citizens to help CDA by reporting littering through the CDA helpline (1334). Consequently, he reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to making Islamabad a clean, green, and livable city through public cooperation and strict enforcement of cleanliness laws.
