WANA: In Ragzai area of South Waziristan’s Lower Tehsil birmal, a heart breaking incident took place after the roof of the room collapsed after breaking the fast in the evening time of March 17 2024.
According to the roof the room had collapsed due to heavy rain and in which six people lost their lives, around a dozen people were injured.
Yesterday Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Lower Nasir Khan distributed compensation checks to the family members in the presence of MNA Zubair Khan Wazir and MPA Ajab Gul Wazir.
District administration said in statement, 6 people from the same family died and around a dozen people were injured in this tragic accident.
After the news of this tragic accident appeared on the national media, MNA Zubair Khan and MPA Ajab Gul started efforts to provide financial support to the victim’s family.
A day later, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur announced immediate financial assistance relief for the victim family.
In this regard, relief checks were distributed to the next of kin at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office at Upper Scouts Camp Wana in the presence of both representative.
On this occasion, the two parliamentarians said while talking to the media that they assured full cooperation with the said family in the future as well.
It should be noted that Additional Deputy Commissioner SWL Kashmir Khan and tribal elders were also present during the check distribution function.
Local elders appreciated the efforts of MNA Zubair Khan and MPA Ajab Gul for providing timely relief to the family members of the Raghzai tragedy.
