SWAT: Director General Health (PHA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Sahib Gul said that the Government Paramedical Institute of Medical Technology Swat was inaugurated in 1982 which has now become a shadow tree. He expressed these views while addressing the opening ceremony of the launch of BS classes at the Government Paramedical Institute of Technology, Swat.
Saidu Group of Teaching Hospital Chief Executive Professor Dr. Israrul Haq, Principal PIMT Swat Dr. Sheraz Ahmed also addressed the event.
On this occasion, DG Health also inaugurated various departments and laboratories equipped with modern equipment in the institute.
Principal Dr. Sheraz Ahmed while briefing DG Health said that in order to align the institute with modern requirements, the students are taught and trained through state of the art laboratories as well as projectors in the classes.
Prof. Dr. Israrul Haq said that students should concentrate on their studies so that they can play their role in the service of humanity after graduation.
Director General Health KP Dr. Sahib Gul instructed the students to follow the discipline and become good graduates to become the best health care providers, adding that Paramedics are the backbone of healthcare and we value their services.
At the end of the ceremony, Chief Guest DG Health and Professor Dr. israrul Haq distributed shields among the teachers and students.
