According to Indian media reports, the investigation into the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan has taken a complicated turn as the fingerprints of the arrested suspect do not match the ones collected from the crime scene.
The 19 fingerprints obtained from the actor’s residence reportedly do not match the fingerprints of Sharif Islam, who is alleged to be involved in the attack.
On the other hand, the suspect’s lawyer has called all the allegations against Sharif Islam fabricated, claiming in court that the charges against his client are false and that, due to the high-profile nature of the case, his client is being made a scapegoat.
On January 16, an intruder entered Saif Ali Khan’s house and attacked him with a knife, leaving him severely injured.
