Pind Dadan Khan: Following the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the administration has launched a grand operation against illegal encroachments in Pind Dadan Khan and Khewra. The illegal structures have been removed. Assistant Commissioner Pind Dadan Khan, Nadia Parveen, visited various points in Khewra and Pind Dadan Khan and instructed the administration to continue the operation impartially without causing any harm to traders. She also allowed the use of only two feet of space in front of shops. In Khewra, traders have voluntarily started removing encroachments and sheds in front of their shops. However, in Pind Dadan Khan, tensions were observed between the traders and the administration. The traders stated that they are voluntarily removing encroachments, but the administration is forcibly taking down their display boards.
