WANA: Mehsud Press Club registered annual elections were completed yesterday, Farooq Mehsud and Rafiq Alam were the candidates for Mehsud Press Club annual elections 2024.
On this occasion 20 members of Mehsud Press Club cast their votes, in which Farooq Mehsud was elected president with 16 votes while Rafiq Alam was second with 4 votes.
The newly elected President of Mehsud Press Club registered Farooq Mehsud announced the other cabinet office bearers.
Sikandar Hayat General Secretary, Adnan Khan Bettani Vice President, Abdul wadood Mehsud Joint Secretary and Jalal Mehsud Press Secretary were elected in the cabinet, when in addition to this, Sikandar Hayat was given the additional charge of Finance Secretary.

It should be noted, to make the elections transparent, political Moharar Muhammad Ullah participated as the representative of district administration South Waziristan.
On this occasion, newly elected President Farooq Mehsud thanked all the members of Mehsud Press Club and said that I will work together with other journalists day and night for the welfare of journalists.
He said that journalists play an important role in the development of any region.
He said, Mehsud Press Club registered members will continue their struggle to solve the problems of journalists including regional issues.
