KARACHI: A 70 kVA solar power system has been installed at Odero Lal Temple under the Sindh Minority Affairs Department, with the project aimed at improving facilities at the historic place of worship.
The system was inaugurated by Sindh Assembly Member, Special Assistant to the Sindh Chief Minister for Minority Affairs and Chairman of the Sindh Evacuee Trust Property Board, Dr Sham Sunder K. Advani.
Officials from the Minority Affairs Department, including Executive Engineer Anis Ahmed Laghari and Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical) Asif Sehar, briefed Dr Advani about the completion of the project, the equipment installed and the quality standards maintained.
Focus on Quality and Timely Completion
Dr Sham Sunder K. Advani appreciated the work of the officials and directed the Minority Affairs Department to maintain quality standards in all development projects.
He also instructed officials to complete projects within their stipulated timelines and ensure regular monitoring of progress.
Speaking to the media, Advani said the Pakistan Peoples Party leadership, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and the Minority Affairs Department were committed to the welfare of minority communities, including the renovation, maintenance and security of their places of worship.
He said ongoing development works at minority places of worship across Sindh would be completed without unnecessary delays and according to required quality standards.
Temple Administration Attends Inauguration
Members of the Odero Lal Temple administration, including Ramesh Lal, Mahesh Kumar and Santosh Kumar, attended the inauguration.
Local trader Narayan Das Thanorani, Engineer Sanjay Raja, Pakistan Peoples Party Hari Committee Hyderabad District General Secretary Advocate Didar Hussain Solangi, PPP Digital Media Hyderabad Coordinator Amar Lal and other dignitaries were also present.
