Rawalpindi – Security Forces of Pakistan have killed 34 militants belonging to Fitna Al Khwarij, an Indian proxy network, during a series of intelligence-based operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province from October 13 to 15. The operations were part of the ongoing national counter terrorism campaign “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan.
The first engagement took place in Spinwam, North Waziristan, where troops launched a precision strike on a reported militant hideout. Following an intense exchange of fire, 18 militants were neutralized.
In South Waziristan, a second operation led to the elimination of eight more members of Fitna Al Khwarij. A third encounter in Bannu District resulted in the deaths of another eight militants, bringing the total to 34 over three days.
Sanitization operations are currently underway to clear remaining threats in the region. Officials confirmed that any additional presence of Indian-sponsored militants will be dealt with decisively.
The Fitna Al Khwarij network has been linked to cross-border destabilization efforts and targeted violence in Pakistan’s tribal districts. These latest operations underscore Pakistan’s resolve to dismantle foreign-backed terror infrastructure and restore peace in affected areas.
Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies reaffirmed their commitment to continue the counter terrorism drive at full pace, ensuring no safe haven remains for extremist elements operating under external influence.
