Trans Peshawar has released ZU Peshawar Annual Report 2024, according to which the citizens used ZU Peshawar bus service for about 8.65 million trips this year. So far, this service has been used for traveling more than 30 crore times in total. The number of passengers on a daily basis exceeded 345 thousand, of which about 30 percent were women.
ZU Peshawar launched three new routes in 2024, including DR-14 (Islamia College to Regi Model Town), DR14-A (Islamia College to Professor Model Town), and DR-13 (Sardar Garhi to Pabi).As well as for the convenience of the students.University Express service provided on ER-09, ER-10, ER-12, ER-16 and SR-08 routes.
This year, ZU Peshawar’s bus industry restructuring program received an honorable mention at the Sustainable Transport Awards, bringing ZU Peshawar’s total number of international awards to five. Similarly, around 2.4 million Zukards were sold, taking the total number of Zukards to over 1.9 lakh. In addition, there were 2130 new registrations on the Zubicycle sharing system, including 17 women. The total number of registrations has reached 8 thousand 9 hundred.
The integration of ZU Peshawar bicycle sharing system with NADRA system has been completed, with which passengers can now complete the registration process at the BRT station instead of going to the NADRA service center. In addition, the Zubicycle sharing system was used for about 224,000 trips.
Trans Peshawar Spokesperson Sadaf Kamil said: “This year our call center staff resolved 20,000 complaints while providing guidance to over 3,500 customers through social media.
