Islamabad: Pakistani cake artist and home baker Zoya Wakeel has won the Asia Cake Oscar 2026 in the Birthday Cake Decoration (Intermediate) category, earning international recognition at the competition held in Sri Lanka.
The award places Wakeel among the region’s recognized cake artists and marks a notable achievement for Pakistan’s baking industry on an international platform.
The Asia Cake Oscars brings together bakers and cake decorators from across Asia to showcase creativity, technical expertise, and cake design skills in various categories.
Reacting to the achievement, Wakeel described the award as a dream come true and said representing Pakistan at the event was a matter of pride and honor.
