ISLAMABAD — President Asif Ali Zardari has conferred the civil award “Sitara-i-Imtiaz” on Arshad Wali Muhammad in recognition of his contributions to Pakistan’s economic development and efforts to promote the country’s image internationally.

According to Gerry’s Group, the award acknowledges Arshad Wali Muhammad’s leadership and services across multiple sectors that contributed to national progress and business growth.

The organization described the honour as a significant achievement and said his professional contributions had earned recognition within Pakistan’s business community.

A spokesperson for Gerry’s Group said Arshad Wali Muhammad played an important role in strengthening Pakistan’s global reputation through his leadership and professional initiatives.

Pakistan’s Sitara-i-Imtiaz is one of the country’s highest civilian awards and is conferred on individuals for distinguished service in their respective fields.
