Younis Khan Named League Commissioner for KP Champions League

Former Pakistan captain Younis Khan has been appointed as the League Commissioner for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Champions League, where he will oversee cricket operations and the tournament’s overall management.

The league is set to feature several current and former Pakistan international cricketers, while former captain Shahid Afridi will serve as the tournament’s brand ambassador.

Younis Khan to Oversee Cricket Operations

According to the organizers, Younis Khan will be responsible for supervising cricket operations, tournament regulations, technical matters, competition structure, and other key aspects of the league.

His appointment is aimed at ensuring professional management and maintaining high cricketing standards throughout the tournament.

Grand Launch Scheduled for July 18

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Champions League will officially be launched on July 18 at Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar.

Organizers said the event will unveil the tournament schedule, upcoming activities, the talent hunt programme, and other key announcements.

International Cricketers and Entertainment Planned

The launch ceremony is expected to be attended by the Chief Minister and Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, senior government officials, and prominent personalities from various fields.

A live musical concert featuring singer Aima Baig and Pashto music star Rahim Shah is also planned, while free tickets will be available for spectators attending the event.
