KARACHI: The body of a young woman was recovered from bushes near Jinnah Gate on Steel Mill Road in Karachi’s Bin Qasim Town, with police saying she appeared to have been shot dead.
According to police, the woman was around 20 years old and could not be identified immediately. Investigators found what appeared to be a single bullet wound on her body.
Police Investigate Circumstances
Police officials said there were no apparent signs of physical assault on the body at the scene. However, a detailed medical examination will be conducted after the body is shifted to a hospital.
Investigators believe the body may have been dumped at the location after the woman was killed. Police and crime scene personnel reached the site and began collecting evidence.
Authorities are investigating different aspects of the incident, while efforts to identify the deceased and determine the circumstances surrounding her death are continuing.
