RAWALPINDI: Pakistani vlogger Komal Khan died in a tragic accident in Rawalpindi after the motorcycle she was riding reportedly slipped and fell into the swollen Soan River amid heavy rainfall.
The 28-year-old was known for her interest in motorcycle riding and digital content creation. She regularly shared videos and reels featuring her travels, daily journeys and visits to scenic locations on social media.
Komal had around 5,000 followers on TikTok, where her bio described her as a girl “born to travel the world on two wheels.”
According to reports, heavy rainfall caused flooding in the Soan River and Nullah Lai in Rawalpindi. During the period of high water levels, Komal’s motorcycle reportedly lost control and fell into the Soan River.
Rescue personnel later recovered her body from the river.
Komal was also an employee of the Election Commission of Pakistan. Her sudden death prompted expressions of grief from family members, colleagues and social media users.
The incident highlights the dangers posed by swollen waterways and hazardous road conditions during periods of intense rainfall.
