MARDAN: A ceremony held here on Sunday to distribute laptops among fresh graduates who are appointed for internships in various departments of Water and Sanitation Services Company Mardan (WSSCM). The ceremony was held at WSSCM Head office. Chairman Board of Directors (BoD) Engineer Adil Nawaz and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shahid Khan distributed seven laptops among female interns. The Laptops were distributed under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cities Improvement Project (KPCIP).
It is worth mentioning that ‘Fresh Graduates Internship Program has been launched in Mardan with the cooperation of the Asian Development Bank under KPCIP.
Encouraging female internees to acquire practical expertise in the field of Water & Sanitation. They added. WSSCM is striving to promote females and to improve their performance in their respective fields. Chief Engineer Cities Implementation Unit Mardan Imran Zaman, Deputy General Manager Muhammad Khalil Akbar, Chief Financial Officer Naveed Akhtar and Gender Coordinator Sadia Umar attended the event.
