WSSC Kohat reviews Eid-ul-Adha cleanliness plan with business community

KOHAT: WSSC Kohat held a consultative meeting with the Chamber of Commerce and representatives of the business community to review sanitation arrangements for the Eid-ul-Adha cleanliness campaign.

The meeting was chaired by Chairman Board and Acting Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Saad, while Board Member Rashid Paracha also attended. Participants discussed garbage disposal, field operations and measures to strengthen cleanliness across the city during Eid days.

Muhammad Saad said special sanitation teams would remain active during all three days of Eid. He said helpline 1334 would also remain operational to receive and address public complaints.

He added that waste would be collected from designated central points to ensure timely disposal and public convenience.

Rashid Paracha proposed distributing biodegradable bags among traders, forming a coordination committee and setting cleaning hours in urban areas.

Business representatives suggested placing awareness banners in markets, issuing cleanliness guidelines for citizens and forming joint monitoring teams during Eid.

The business community appreciated WSSC Kohat’s initiatives and assured full cooperation in keeping the city clean during Eid-ul-Adha.
