SWABI — Women University Swabi held a scholarship ceremony to recognize four students who received full undergraduate scholarships funded by Dynea Pakistan Limited, an initiative aimed at supporting deserving female students facing financial challenges.

The scholarships were awarded through the university’s Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), with the company covering the students’ outstanding educational dues and committing to sponsor their entire undergraduate education.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Dr. Ghazala Yasmeen said education plays a vital role in the progress and prosperity of society, adding that expanding educational opportunities for women can have a broad and lasting impact on communities.

She noted that financial constraints often prevent talented students from continuing their studies, but scholarship initiatives help enable students to pursue higher education and achieve their academic goals.

The vice chancellor also highlighted the university’s efforts to provide students with quality education and opportunities that help them develop the confidence and skills needed for their future careers.

According to the university, two of the scholarship recipients are enrolled in the Department of Management Sciences, while the other two belong to the Department of Public Health.

Dr. Yasmeen thanked Engr. Nabeel Haider and the management of Dynea Pakistan Limited for supporting the scholarship program and acknowledged the role of Dr. Sania Zaheer Ali in facilitating the initiative for deserving students.

University officials expressed hope that partnerships between educational institutions and private organizations will continue to expand opportunities for female students seeking higher education.
