Mardan (Khurshid Wahab): A new Women University Mardan collaboration with Tapal Tea created an exciting student engagement activity at both the Main and Bakhshali campuses. The Department of Botany partnered with Tapal Tea Industry to design a vibrant program that blended creativity, learning, and real-world industry exposure.
The event, held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, brought together nearly 1,000 students alongside faculty and staff members. The Tapal Tea team from Peshawar introduced their products and hosted tea-making competitions among students from different semesters. These activities encouraged teamwork, innovation, and healthy participation.
To recognize student talent, Tapal Tea distributed gift packs to faculty and students. The company also announced scholarships and a tablet for graduate students, boosting motivation and academic excellence.
Led by Dr. Hira Bashir and the faculty of the Department of Botany, the Women University Mardan collaboration with Tapal Tea highlighted the institution’s commitment to building strong industry-academia linkages. It also emphasized the importance of student-centered events that extend learning beyond the classroom.
By combining higher education with practical industry engagement, Women University Mardan continues to provide students with the confidence, skills, and exposure required for future growth.
