Pakistani singer Waris Baig revealed that he went to India and provided work to people there for a fee. In a recent interview, Waris Baig shared that renowned Indian director Mahesh Bhatt had apologized to him for copying the tune of his popular song “Kal Shab Dekha Chand Jharokay Mein.”

Waris Baig explained, “In the past, during a live call on a Geo News program, Nadia Khan brought me and Mahesh Bhatt together. During the call, Mahesh Bhatt apologized for using my song’s tune without my permission, saying, ‘We used your song without asking, and I am sorry for that.'”

Regarding the offer he received from India, Waris Baig stated, “I was fortunate to have made two music videos with Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora in India. While many people from here go to India seeking work, I went to India and paid Indians for work. This was at a time when it was difficult for Pakistanis to get a visa to India, but I had decided that after gaining so much fame in Pakistan, it didn’t feel right to go to India and ask for work or payment.”

Waris Baig also spoke about his experience working with Malaika and Amrita, saying, “India has a higher level of professionalism. People arrive on time and leave as soon as the work is done.”
