Islamabad: Westminster International School and Westminster Academy Islamabad hosted the vibrant Food Festival 2025 on Friday at their H-8 Campus, drawing over 7,000 attendees for an evening filled with global flavours, cultural performances and student-led learning showcases.

The festival welcomed a diverse audience, including Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Barrister Danyal Chaudhry, veteran TV actress Ayesha Khan, CEO Westminster Schools Raheel Sajjad Khan, and Principal Westminster Bahria Town Campus Shagun Irfan. Diplomats, dignitaries and families from across the Twin Cities joined the celebration, transforming the venue into a multicultural hub of activity.

Attendees enjoyed an extensive range of international and local cuisines, offering a global culinary experience. More than 70 student-led PowerPoint presentations were displayed, highlighting Westminster students’ global research and academic creativity. Primary Year students brought a colourful academic element to the event by participating in a Cultural Walk, dressed in traditional attire representing their countries of study. Awards were presented for standout presentations across grade levels.
Festival Supports Charity and Community Engagement
Upholding the tradition of social responsibility, all proceeds from ticket sales and game stalls were allocated to charitable initiatives. The festival once again served as both a community celebration and a philanthropic effort, strengthening the school’s commitment to education, empathy and community service.
